From the Quick View page, you can edit an upcoming appointments' details.

Currently, you can edit the following details for an upcoming appointment:

  • Change the appointment modality (Video Call, In Person, Phone Call etc)

  • Change the appointment time

  • Notification preferences

You cannot do the following with the edit feature:


Step 1: Find the upcoming appointment

In Quick View you can find the upcoming appointment in the “Appointments not started” section. If you can’t find the appointment, use the filter tool to search for the appointment Use filter tool to search

  • Once you find the appointment, click the “Edit” button

Step 2: Edit appointment details

Next, you can edit the appointment details according to what you need.

a) You can change the modality from one modality to another. For example from In-Person to a Video Call.

b) You can change the start time of the appointment (the time you enter is in the Clients' time zone.

c) You can update notification preferences for this appointment

d) You can view the updated time of the appointment here which is useful if the client is in a different time zone.

Changing to a Video Call modality:

When changing to a Video Call modality, you’ll be asked if you prefer Teams or Zoom. If you select Teams, converge will create a meeting link for you and the client which doesn’t require a login. You also don’t need the Teams app installed (except for when accessed from a smartphone). We recommend selecting “Yes” for client notifications so the client receives a meeting link.

If you select Zoom, you’ll need to separately schedule and create a meeting and send the meeting link to the client.

  • Once you have completed your edits, click the blue “Submit” button to save your changes.
