Once you have completed registration in the Converge International App, you can permit the App to access data from Apple Health, including steps from your iPhone and activity and/or steps from your Apple Watch.
The following steps also applies if you only have an iPhone (no Apple Watch) and want to use the iPhone’s built in Pedometer to count steps for Converge Move challenges and activities or wellbeing features.
In the Converge International App, tap “Profile” from the menu at the bottom
Next, tap “Settings” from the menu
Tap “Connect your device”
Tap “Connect” for “ iPhone | Watch from the list of devices to connect to

Note, if you turn off “Activity” and/or “Steps” from the options shown, it may affect your ability to participate in Move challenges and activities in the Converge App. You can always turn these features on during Move challenges and then turn it off after a move challenge has ended if you are conscious about data sharing. |

If you only have an iPhone and steps data isn’t syncing to the Converge App
If don’t have an Apple Watch, you can use your iPhone’s built in Pedometer to track steps, which allows you to participate in Move challenges, wellbeing and activities features in the Converge App.
If you have followed the instructions in the section “Allow Converge International app to view some or all Apple Health data” and steps from iPhone are still not being synced, you may need to enable Motion and Fitness in the Privacy section of the iPhone Settings app:
Go to Settings app on your iPhone
In the settings app, scroll to the Privacy or Privacy & Security section
In the Privacy or Privacy & Security page, scroll down to the “Motion & Fitness” section
If not turned on, turn on “Fitness Tracking”
Make sure “Health” is turned on
