The Converge International app can sync fitness and activity data from Samsung Galaxy Watch devices via the Google Fit app. This guide will help you ensure your Samsung device is syncing to Google Fit and you have enabled the Converge App to sync data from Google Fit.


1. Ensure you have Google Fit installed

Make sure you’ve downloaded or have the Google Fit App on your Android device; download Google Fit here - ensure you’ve setup Google Fit

2. Ensure you have Samsung Health app installed

You’ll also need Samsung Health app installed and setup with your Samsung Watch; download it from the Google Play store or tap here - ensure you’ve setup Samsung Health.

Once you’ve setup Samsung Health, or if you’ve already set it up previously, check that Samsung Health and Google Fit have permission to share data between each other.

  1. Open the Settings app on your Android device

  2. Open or search Settings for “Health Connect”

  3. In Health Connect, tap "App Permissions

  4. Here, you'll find apps on your phone that work with Health Connect, including Samsung Health and Google Fit - select Samsung Health

  5. You may be requested to enable what you want to sync with Google Fit - select all options or ensure that at minimum, “distance” or “steps” is enabled

3. Sync data from Google Fit to the Converge App

If you haven’t connected the Converge App to Google Fit, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Converge App

  2. Tap “Profile” from the menu at the bottom

  3. Tap “Settings”

  4. Tap “Connect your device”

  5. Scroll down, then tap “Google Fit” to sync Health data from Google Fit

If you continue to have syncing issues or cannot sync data, contact Samsung Support or Google Support.
