Converge International will progressively transition to a new multi factor authentication tool; Okta. This transition will occur in stages and will replace the current login screen for the Phoenix portal.
A new URL will be provided to you which will allow you to access your Okta account - from there you can access your eligible Converge services, like Phoenix and the Clinical Governance Portal using a single login.
View the FAQ section for more information.
Setup Okta
1. Open the activation email
When invited, you’ll receive an email from Okta (“Welcome to Okta”)
Click the “Activate Okta Account” button in the email.
2. Create a password
Next, you’ll be asked to create a password to login to Okta. This single login password will be used for all Converge services, including Okta, the Clinical Governance Portal and Phoenix.
Click Next after creating your password.
2. Select your authenticator
Next, you’ll need to select an Authenticator Application (App) to receive verification codes.
Converge requires that you choose an Authenticator App, which is used to verify your identity when logging in and whenever you need to reset your password. You can choose to use Okta Verify (recommended) or use your own preferred alternative Authenticator.
Setup with Okta Verify (recommended)
If choosing Okta Verify, you’ll need to setup two-factor authentication via the Okta Verify App on your smartphone.
On your computer, select the “Setup” button under “Okta Verify”.
On your Smartphone, Download Okta Verify from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
Open the Okta Verify App
Press Skip at the top left
Press the + (plus) icon at the top right
Tap “Organisation” as the account type
Tap “Skip” (you don’t yet have an account from another device)
Tap “Yes, Ready to Scan” (You may need to provide permission to access the Camera, if prompted, tap “Allow”)
Point your camera at the QR code on the Okta website which will appear on your computer screen.
Setup with alternative Authenticators
Alternatively, you can use any other preferred Authenticator (like Google Authenticator, Apple Passwords, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.) - to choose any alternative Authenticator, click “Setup” button under “Google Authenticator”.
