How are teams created?

No need to panic, you don’t have to worry about breaking it to Steve over the water-cooler that you can’t be in his team this time around. Based on your data, our tech guys in the background will put teams together to make it fair across the board. As the ancient proverb goes, “All is fair in love and team fitness challenges”.

In case you haven’t received a notification yet that you have been allocated a team, don’t stress...all it means is that you might have to hook up some more of your colleagues to sign up – because only a full team (made of up-to 6 people, minimum of 3) make a good team!

Note: your steps will still count, even though you might join the challenge a day or two late! Our data scientists are making sure your great effort will show on the leaderboard.

Can I move to another group?

Groups are automatically created using pre-determined algorithms to ensure everyone has an equal chance to participate and contribute. Once you are in a group, you can request to leave and we will process this request (allow up to 48 hours). You’ll then be automatically re-assigned to another group with a space when available.
