Syncing your Coros device

Your Coros device can sync data to the Converge International App via a data aggregator service: Apple Health, Google Fit. This guide will help you understand how to sync your Coros device and App with one of these data aggregator apps/services, which in-turn syncs to Converge International App.

1. Get started

To get started, you’ll need the following:

  • The Coros App with your Coros smartwatch or tracker synced and setup beforehand

  • A data aggregator:

    • For Apple iPhone users - Apple Health App

    • For Android users - Google Fit service App

  • The Converge App with your profile registered and details setup with an account

2. Connect Coros App to a data aggregator

Next, connect the Coros App to your preferred data aggregator. The data aggregator (Apple Health, Google Fit or Strava) is where third-party devices (like Coros devices) sync their activity data to. The data aggregator then shares the data you choose to share with Apps and services you approve (like the Converge International App).

For Apple Health users

  1. Open the Coros App

  2. Go to your profile

  3. Tap settings

  4. Tap “3rd Party Apps”

  5. Tap “Apple Health” - look for this icon

  6. A disclosure sheet will appear asking for you to confirm what data you want to share between Coros and Apple Health - we recommend allowing all (see below)

When confirming what data to share with Apple Health, we recommend allowing all, or at minimum, select “Steps and “Walking + Running Distance” to participate in the Move challenge.

For Google Fit users

  1. Open the Coros App

  2. Go to your profile

  3. Tap settings

  4. Tap “3rd Party Apps”

  5. Tap “Google Health” or “Google Fit” (wording may vary - look for this icon )

  6. Follow the on-screen steps to sign into your Strava account and permit data sharing

3. Sync your data aggregator to Converge App

Finally, with your Coros app now syncing data to your preferred data aggregator (Apple Health or Google Fit) you can now sync the Converge App to the data aggregator.

  1. Open the Converge International App

  2. Tap “Profile” from the bottom menu

  3. Tap “Settings”

  4. Tap “Health App”

  5. Next, Tap

    1. For Apple Health users: tap iPhone | Watch or Apple Health (option may vary)

    2. Google Fit users: tap Google Fit

Troubleshooting

If your data is not syncing, here’s some resources to help you:

Google Fit users - my activity data is not syncing, some of my activity data is missing or is delayed
Google Fit data can take up-to 48 hrs to sync to the Converge App. If you are participating in the Move challenge, we have a grace period of 48 hrs after the last day of the challenge for additional data to sync.

Apple Health users - I’ve synced the Apple Health App to Converge App but my data or some data is missing or not syncing
There may be a permissions issue - view this guide to resolve this:

Can I sync data from Strava?
Yes, you can sync data to Strava, however you’ll first need to sync the Coros app to Strava to share data, then share data from Strava to either Apple Health or Google Fit (with the instructions on this page).
