Setup your Okta login (Associates)
Converge International will progressively transition to a new multi factor authentication tool; Okta. This transition will occur in stages and will replace the current login screen for the Phoenix portal.
A new URL will be provided to you which will allow you to access your Okta account - from there you can access your eligible Converge services, like Phoenix and the Clinical Governance Portal using a single login.
View the FAQ section for more information.
View the guide below or watch the video.
Setup Okta
1. Open the activation email
When invited, you’ll receive an email from Okta (“Welcome to Okta”)
Click the “Activate Okta Account” button in the email.
2. Create a password
Next, you’ll be asked to create a password to login to Okta. This single login password will be used for all Converge services, including Okta, the Clinical Governance Portal and Phoenix.
Click Next after creating your password.
2. Select your authenticator
Next, you’ll need to select an Authenticator Application (App) to receive verification codes.
Converge requires that you choose an Authenticator App, which is used to verify your identity when logging in and whenever you need to reset your password. You can choose to use Okta Verify (recommended) or use your own preferred alternative Authenticator.
Setup with Okta Verify (recommended)
If choosing Okta Verify, you’ll need to setup two-factor authentication via the Okta Verify App on your smartphone.
On your computer, select the “Setup” button under “Okta Verify”.
On your Smartphone, Download Okta Verify from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
Open the Okta Verify App
Press Skip at the top left, then press the + (plus) icon at the top right
Tap “Organisation” as the account type
Tap “Skip” (you don’t yet have an account from another device)
Tap “Yes, Ready to Scan” (You may need to provide permission to access the Camera, if prompted, tap “Allow”)
Point your camera at the QR code on the Okta website which will appear on your computer screen.
Setup with alternative Authenticators
Alternatively, you can use any other preferred Authenticator (like Google Authenticator, Apple Passwords, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.) - to choose any alternative Authenticator, click “Setup” button under “Google Authenticator”.
Converge cannot provide any technical support (other than removing an alternative authenticator) for alternative Authenticators.

3. Your Okta homepage
After you complete setting up your password (Step 1 in this guide) and the Authenticator (Step 2 in this guide), you’ll then be taken to the Okta home page.
Any eligible Converge Services (“Apps”) will be listed on the home page. Click the Converge Service to access. No further login will be required.
FAQ
What URL do I use to access Phoenix?
After you setup Okta, if you access Phoenix via an existing URL, you’ll need to click “Login with Okta” instead of logging in using your username and password on the Phoenix login page. Alternatively go to login.convergeint.com.
What Converge Services (Apps) are available via Okta?
We’re progressively migrating all of our services to Okta. Available now: Amazon Web Services (used by CS team and Live Chat consultants), Phoenix, Clinical Governance Portal, Onsite Wellbeing (Integrated Onsite) and Rapid Response.
I don’t want to use Okta
Once you setup your Okta account, you won’t be able to login using your previous credentials for Converge Services (like the Phoenix portal). Use of Okta enables Converge to comply with security requirements of our partners and client organizations; this is a mandatory tool for anyone using Converge Services.
I’ve forgotten my password
Your Okta username is your full Converge email address (ending in @convergeintl.com.au) and your password is the same one you use for unlocking your Converge supplied laptop and is also the same password used for Microsoft Office 365.
If you need to reset your password, go to login.convergeint.com and click “Unlock account?” and follow the on-screen instructions. Remember, when prompted, your username is your full email address.
What if I lose access to my device (which has the Authenticator on it)?
If you lose access to your device (if you lose your device, delete the Authenticator app, etc.) which has the Authenticator App on it, contact Converge and after we manually verify your identity, we’ll send an email with a link to setup an Authenticator on your new device.
