MFA for Practices - Solution 1

MFA for Practices - Solution 1

In this guide, the word “nominee” is used to describe clinicians or consultants that work in your practice and who have their own credentials (username and password), regardless of who is actually accessing their Phoenix account.

When signing in to the Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) portal, you’ll need to verify your identity each time via a Verification Code sent to an Authenticator app (like Okta Verify, Google Authenticator) or via SMS.

If SMS is enabled to receive the verification code, only one mobile number can be nominated to receive the code. If another person needs to access the same nominee account (like multiple practice admins, or a Practice Admin and the Nominee themself), you’ll need to setup an Authenticator App to receive the verification code.

Setup an Authenticator App as an additional verification method

To setup an Authenticator App, go to login.convergeint.com and sign in using your existing nominee’s credentials

  1. Once signed in, from the MFA portal page/dashboard, click your name at the top right, then click “Settings”.

Click “Setup” for Okta verify.
